Unforturnately the live USB created can't boot on physical PC. The steps went through without complaint. Then I ran the steps of "pendrivelinux" creating a live USB, also on the same VM. I could play around the live cloud on VM. I booted it on VM of VirtualBox without problem. I suppose it needs the *.iso image burned on CD. I spent almost 2 days searching around my database as well as googling Internet without result.
No additional software was needed, only command lines and no need burning the *.iso on CD. Several years back I did many times using live CD to create bootable pendrive. I am doing this cause you can not "burn" an ISO file to a USB stick. Then ask here for further assistance, with more details as to EXACTLY what the task is you wish to accomplish. In general ,if there will be one single 2TB disk partition in your server essentials w2012r2,we need to set UEFI disk mode in bios.ģ.we can download rufus tool and import the server 2012r2 essentials iso to our usb disk like video. (we can power on like dell server and enter F2 to go to system BIOS mode then check the boot mode like picture) 1.we need at least 8G usb drive and use rufus software to burn windows server essentials 2012R2 to it.Ģ.we need to check which our disk mode of our physical server ?is it UEFI or MBR(bios) mode?
